Heroes For Hire is about to open for business.

After meeting for the first time in The Defenders, the paths of Luke Cage and Danny Rand are going to cross again when the former's solo series returns next year, and we've now got the first image of Iron Fist's appearance in the series (courtesy of Entertainment Weekly).

No other details about how Danny fits into Luke's story have been revealed, but it's a safe bet there'll be some major nods to the pair's Heroes for Hire venture from the comics, which sees them offering their protection skills for a fee. They might not charge for their services in the show, but we should definitely see them working together.

Being partnered with Luke certainly improved Danny's character during The Defenders, so this is a good move for Iron Fist, and one of a number of mini-crossovers we're likely to see in the future. We also know that Misty Knight and Colleen Wing will be teaming up in Iron Fist Season 2, and with Misty in Luke Cage too, maybe Colleen will stop by there as well.

Luke Cage is expected to hit Netflix sometime in 2018. Are you excited by the prospect of the pair teaming up? Share your thoughts down in the comments.
