Netflix's Mindhunter made quite the splash when it was released last October, earning enormous praise for the trio of captivating performances by Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany and Anna Torv, not to mention David Fincher's stunning direction and the generally entrancing style and tone.
New leaks from That Hashtag Show appear to have blown the lid off the serial killer roster fans can expect for the upcoming second season. Though season one took place in 1977, these reveals make it clear that season two will jump a few years forward, presumably taking place in the late 1970s or early 1980s.
With the first season presenting the audience with a fascinating gallery of demented serial killers, the next batch of episodes looks to one-up itself with at least nine killers now confirmed to appear. With more than a few famous names among the bunch, if the casting is right, this has the potential to blow the first season right out of the water.
