Ranking Every Superhero TV Show From Worst To Best

8. Legends Of Tomorrow

Superhero TV
The CW

One of the newest shows on this list, Legends of Tomorrow launched at the outset of 2016 after a lot of setup on Arrow and The Flash. Too much setup, in fact, which dragged both of those shows down for a bit.

Not holding that against Legends, but the show still isn't exactly great. Or even good. The spin-off features a number of characters from the Arrowverse, such as Sara Lance and Captain Cold, and that's where the hook really comes from.

Putting these side characters front-and-centre of their own show, and watching how they interact, is the real strength of this series, with the likes of Caity Lotz, Wentworth Miller, and Dominic Purcell really getting the chance to shine.

Where it fell down, however, was with its time-travel plot, combined with an incredibly lacklustre villain in Vandal Savage. The characters can only keep you invested for so long, and the story soon wore thin. Season 2 is introducing the Legion of Doom, which features Captain Cold, Reverse-Flash, Malcolm Merlyn, and Damien Darhk, which should really improve things, because there's not much reason to watch Legends otherwise.
