11. More Clusters
Season one focused on one sensate cluster, who also happen to be the eight co-protagonists of the series, learning about their new powers and how to harness them, but even by the end of the season they were only starting to get a grasp on what their existence means for humanity as a whole.
It was implied that there were many more clusters similar to them across the world, all of whom were being hunted down – or had already been wiped out – by Whispers and the sinister BPO. Many fans were hopeful that we'd eventually get to meet some other clusters, and season two will grant that wish.
The sensates have a sciencey label now – homo sensorium – defining them as a whole new branch of humanity, which explains why the unscrupulous biologists-come-militia are so keen to experiment on them.
As our group continue to learn more about who they are, they're set to encounter other sensates, though the eight leads we know and love will remain the main characters. Well, sixteen leads would be a bit much, even for this show.
