Sherlock's 10 Greatest Insults

2. "For The Sake Of Law And Order I Suggest You Avoid All Future Attempts At A Relationship."

Episode: The Reichenbach Fall Directed At: Molly Hooper Poor Molly, she's been the butt of Sherlock's jibes since the very beginning (and almost certainly longer). His most mean-spirited attack on the besotted morgue attendant is surely his ignorant deduction of her 'new boyfriend' in A Scandal In Belgravia's Christmas scene, but as solid-gold one liners go, this one trumps it. Sherlock is referring to Moriarty, whom he first met in the guise of 'Jim from I.T', a boyfriend of Molly's in The Great Game. Despite the serious nature of Moriarty's mounting threat in Series 2's unforgettable finale, Sherlock still finds the time to throw out a callous insult to Molly's choice of romantic partners, despite her insistence that they weren't ever really going out. What a guy.
