The Simpsons: 15 Most Annoying Characters Ever

Why are they so damn infuriating!?

And also, just going by the law of averages, it€™s also normal that not all of them are going to be a homerun. Every show has a few annoying characters. This annoyance usually comes from the fact that the characters are bland, unappealing or, in the case of a show like The Simpsons, simply unfunny. In certain cases, it€™s minor quirks that bug you which could be fixed easily. In other cases, you want to see them experience a slow, painful death involving fire ants as soon as they come on-screen. There is a decent chance that this list will feature characters which you love with passion and omit those you hate with a vengeance. The Simpsons is that kind of show that still has the ability to make you show emotion for the characters even after 25 years. However, in some cases, that emotion can be pure rage because the show has produced some characters that are simply infuriating.

15. Lisa

Twentieth Century FoxTwentieth Century FoxWhat? Starting off with one of the main characters? Blasphemy! Obviously, The Simpsons would not be the same without Lisa in it. She is absolutely essential to the success of the franchise and she has plenty of appeal that has endeared her to a massive audience. However, even her diehard fans need to admit that Lisa rubs a lot of other people the wrong way. She is supposed to be the voice of reason in most of the family's wacky adventures but she needs to work on getting her point across without sounding too preachy. At the moment, she really sucks at that. Furthermore, her extreme moralistic view of society can get very frustrating at times. Anyone remember when she helped Mr. Burns found the Li'l Lisa Recycling Plant but then backed away when she discovered that he was using the plant to capture sea life and grind it into Li€™l Lisa Patented Animal Slurry? And afterwards Mr. Burns sold the plant for $120 million and gave Lisa 10% as his advisor and she tore up the check? That scene alone is sure to have made many people yell at their TVs (and also gave Homer four simultaneous heart attacks). Saving the dolphins is all well and good but, come on, $12 million? Screw the dolphins!
