Star Wars: Ranking Every Animated Series From Worst To Best

5. Star Wars: Ewoks

Star Wars Animation
Lucasfilm

Like Forces of Destiny, Star Wars: Ewoks was clearly aimed exclusively at a very young audience. Nevertheless, considering that it ran for two seasons and contained full-length television episodes, it's safe to say that it had a bit more meat on its bones in terms of content.

While many of the episodes are serviceable by '80s cartoon standards, a lot of what was featured does feel incredibly out of place in a Star Wars show. You can't really fault the showrunners for this as, at the time, practically nothing was known about the Star Wars universe outside of what was seen in the original trilogy. But that doesn't make some of the bizarre creative choices any less jarring.

At the end of the day, however, while it may be far from riveting, Ewoks is by no means the worst thing ever, especially considering its target audience. It's not likely to appeal to adults or older kids, and it definitely doesn't hold up all that well, but it's perfectly harmless for what it is.
