Earlier this year it was announced that The Big Bang Theory would be coming to an end at the end of its twelfth season. Fans will no doubt miss the geeking out, the humour and the other very real emotions, but it's likely to be the characters we miss most.
Like Friends, Big Bang was and is a show about relationships and watching the central group of adorable nerds find love and new friendships over the years has been wonderful. Central to that was Penny, the character who kicked off the biggest change in Leonard, Sheldon, Howard and Raj's world way back in season one.
