The crown for the most beloved couple in sitcom history is a heavily contested prize. Penny and Leonard would probably argue their case, Robyn and Ted most likely too, but the real contenders come down to just two.
For all of their issues and the rollercoaster that got them to her getting off plane, Ross and Rachel were the king and queen of will-they-won’t-they romance. And though we got to see them find their groove eventually, it’s a constant shame we didn’t get to see what came next.
On the other hand, Jim and Pam from The Office had way longer together after similar unknown beginnings. We lived their romance more rather than just watching them fall and the ride was irresistible.
