Chances Of Dying? Slim to none. Killing one of the major players would be a misstep, even if Lisa is one of the more superfluous of the bunch, and though this is clearly a great marketing campaign for The Simpsons to pull in some more viewers (and recapture the imaginations of some older ones) there's very little to suggest that they will buck the trend of killing off more supporting characters. Having said that, the well for Lisa's storylines ran a little dry a while back, and she clearly requires a little more thought for her episodes, with increasingly unlikely events, and new characters brought in for the express purpose of adding some interesting beats to her character (including Lady Gaga quite recently.) The futures shown in forward-looking episodes have confirmed that Lisa will go on to marry Milhouse, but that can easily be retconned.
How She Should Die It would be too difficult to do it in a comical way, so as not to royally tick off the fanbase, so something simple, and effective would work best. Or maybe choking on her own smug self-satisfaction?
