The Simpsons: 10 Guest Stars That Must Appear Before The End

It would be a crime-diddly-ime if this lot didn't appear on the show!

From megastars like Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney to sporting greats like Wayne Gretzky and Shaq, a who's who of A-List celebrities has turned up in Springfield over the years.

The Rolling Stones did it (well Mick and Keith, anyway). Kelsey Grammer has appeared time and again as Sideshow Bob. Elizabeth Taylor even voiced Maggie's first word. Both Michael Jackson and Dustin Hoffman did the show under assumed names and in all, well over 700 celebrity guest star spots have been featured.

While some of the allure has been lost with so many appearances, a well placed cameo can turn an episode into something truly special. Jackson and Taylor are perfect examples of that, as is Jackie Mason, who played Krusty's father, Rabbi Hyman Krustofski, several times over the years.

Currently in its twenty-ninth season, the animated antics of The Simpsons are closer to the end than the beginning, yet before all is said and done, there are still a few more names fans want to see on the show.

Let us know down in the comments which high-profile guest stars should make an appearance before alls said and done.

10. Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman's voice is iconic; instantly recognizable, and may even be the voice of your inner monologue.

Point being, Freeman has one of the most distinctive set of pipes on the planet, and he's one of Hollywood's most beloved actors, starring in classics like The Shawshank Redemption, Unforgiven, Seven, and Million Dollar Baby.

At age 80, Freeman has shown no signs of slowing down just yet. In fact, he has a number of titles in production for 2018 including another Olympus has Fallen sequel. There's still time to get the legend on the show, adding his unmistakable voice to the chorus that is Springfield.
