The US Office: 20 Guest Stars You Forgot Were On The Show

"Make friends first, make sales second, make love third. In no particular order."

The US Office, starring Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, and John Krasinski follows the journey of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company and the employees that work there. Following the mockumentary format, this show's unique talking head interviews allow a deeper insight into these characters.

While the UK version it is based on aired on the BBC and lasted just 12 episodes, its US counterpart was shown on NBC and spanned over 9 seasons. From humble beginnings in 2005, the show gained many fans and became extremely popular before the final season in 2013.

Starting off with just a handful of characters the show slowly grew its cast, including more and more celebrity cameo appearances. Some of these lasted a few episodes like Idris Elba as Charles Miner, some appeared intermittently across several seasons like Rashida Jones as Karen Filippelli, and some were just single episode appearances that are not so easily remembered.

Amongst those who starred, some played themselves like Seth Meyers and Christian Slater, but the cameos on this list are all normal, everyday, sometimes forgettable people in the Office world.
