The Walking Dead: 10 Characters Who Utterly Underwhelmed

Wdwd The wait is almost over because The Walking Dead returns for season 4 in under two weeks. And judging by the trailers, it is going to be tense and violent as ever. It appears that the safety of the prison that Rick and the gang were hiding in is breached, and I€™m sure we have lots of shocking and gruesome deaths to look forward to. While the show has been enjoying critical and commercial success, some elements have transferred better than others from the comic book to the small screen. As any fan will tell you, the Walking Dead comics are much better than the show, but that has much to do with the comic having more freedom to surf closer to the edge than the TV censors will allow. Another area that the comics excel in is character development. While their TV counterparts have certain amount of appeal, there is a lot of dead weight. Some characters are so underutilised or badly written, that every moment of screen time they occupy, you can€™t help but feel underwhelmed. So which characters have less of a personality than the zombies? Which ones should have been better developed so that you didn't wish they used as zombie bait? Click next to find out.
