The Walking Dead: 10 Things We Want To See In The Next 8 Episodes

10. Character Deaths

episode-8-group-funeral Now let me explain this one because it does sound like a weird thing to want and even a bit morbid besides but there is a good reason for it. Think back to the spectacular fourth episode of this current season, 'Killer Within.' We saw a mysterious figure release zombies into the prison on the unsuspecting survivors inside, splitting people up and causing a lot of chaos including Lori going into an early labour. A key thing about this episode was the edge of your seat tension that built up from seeing these characters put in this kind of danger. But TV shows have done that many times before and besides they wouldn't kill off main charcters this early, especailly only four episodes in, right? Wrong, in fact dead wrong (couldn't resist), this episode saw the death of not one but two major characters and one of them was definitley a huge shock to everyone, especially fans of the comics. That's right Lori Grimes was killed giving birth to her daughter, Judith, it was a huge move away from the comics for the show to make, as in the comics Lori survives the child birth and plays quite a big part in things that happen in the prison. I was on the edge of my seat for the whole last part of the episode, thinking that Rick or someone will come to the rescue, and that surely they won't kill Lori. But they did and not only did it give us an amazing scene, with the extremly talented Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes, in which he can't handle the fact that his wife is dead and this leads to a great moment of crying and shouting over the loss of his wife. But it also taught us an important lesson about The Walking Dead: no one is ever safe (not even main characters). So I would like to see some more unexpected deaths to close out this season, if not to just give us some more amazing, unexpected scenes but to also give us some more tension surrounding the fate of these characters. Just don't kill Rick, Carl, Merle, Daryl, Michonne, Axel, Tyrese, Hershel, Maggie or Glen but anyone else is fair game. Actually except for The Governor as well, he may be an evil and messed up bad guy, but he's our evil and messed up bad guy.
