From the moment Negan was introduced into The Walking Dead universe, he established his authority immediately, all over Glenn and Abraham’s delicate skulls with his beloved Lucille, in fact. He meant business from the outset. Negan was crude and obscene with an underlying dark humour running through every metaphor and grim detail that bellowed out beneath that eerie grin - he really is a unique character that took TWD to another level.
It’s refreshing to see an antagonist as hateful as Negan in today's watered-down TV, but Jeffery Dean Morgan played the villain so well, you actually started to loathe the actor.
