The Walking Dead: Ranking Characters By How Well They'd Do In Game Of Thrones

How would Rick fare if he woke up in Westeros?

When The Walking Dead first arrived in 2010 it was the first serious attempt by TV to recreate the zombie-apocalypse story on the small screen. There had been parodies, but this was a rare foray into a zombie-focused television program with tongue firmly out-of-cheek. Naturally, it was an immediate success. Since then the quality has come in dribs and drabs, but its popularity has never waned. Another show that manages to consistently combine critical praise with high viewing figures is Game Of Thrones. On the face of it, the two are not obvious bedfellows - one is set in the American South, the other in a semi-historical fantasy land - but there are a couple of conspicuous similarities. Apart from the fact both plots feature zombies as the principle antagonists, they share a common theme - survival. While The Walking Dead offers a world where men and women must sink lower and lower (often physically) in order to get along, the focus on Game Of Thrones is often of hard-headed politics and the ability to remain rational and objective under pressure. With this in mind, wouldn't it be interesting to know how Rick et al would be suited to the political high-jinks of Westeros? Here's a run-down of 10 major characters and how they might fare among Tyrion, Daenerys and others.
