The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things Episode 5 Got Right

All filler, no killer.

The carnage had to come to an end at some point, and the Walking Dead writers chose Episode 5 to take a breather after a stunning opening trio and deep-diving backstory last week. That doesn't mean it was a poor episode, but it was certainly a change of pace from the death-fests of weeks gone by. Rick made a return to Alexandria, but the episode was taken over and crammed full of the fringe characters who are coming to 'do or die' crossroads in their journeys. There's been an immense amount of casualties this season, yet we didn't really know them victims...or even their names. That's left a whole lot of walker-fodder still plugging away at this whole survival game, and every second of screen time spared on them should be used wisely. But did any of the side-characters actually impress enough to be given a stay of execution? There's been a bit of a negative vibe circulating around this episode online, and it's understandable that people are frustrated watching the relatively minor struggles of several characters while the all-important Glenn saga is being dragged out longer than expected. That being said, there were still plenty of things the episode got absolutely spot on, here's a selection...
