The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things Episode 7 Got Right

He's dead, he's alive, oh wait, now they're all screwed.

The Walking Dead has made plenty of huge calls, more than most shows when it comes to bumping off huge characters and blowing the plot wide open. While Season 6 has provided plenty of the latter, pretty much all of the named characters have made it through, and now we even have confirmation that Glenn wasn't actually pulled apart by walkers. Episode 7 had some key moments that have set up the mid-season finale for a typically precarious, adrenaline-fuelled blast before the long winter break, and while the episode certainly wasn't perfect, it did have a scattering of nerve-jangling moments to get us all nicely perched on the edge of our seats. I'm not going to hide away from the fact that The Walking Dead Season 6 has been an inconsistent rollercoaster of quality, zipping to sluggish lows and soaring to new heights. That is one of the show's major problems, but still, each episode has seen its fair share of great scenes, and 'Heads Up' was no exception.

10. Glenn's Comeback (Sort Of)

Glenn's back, and while I'm so glad to see him back in action, I really hoped he wouldn't be back. I'm starting this list on a slight downer, because I don't think The Walking Dead did get it right with his comeback. The whole sequence of events looked far too staged and unbelievable to be a natural event. TWD sacrificed some credibility to bring back the fan-favourite. However, one thing they did get right was that it all went down in the opening scenes. Glenn's comeback has been drawn out, but in this episode, it was all very swiftly confirmed that he was back in the mix. This meant we could look past his ludicrous comeback to his far more grounded route back to Alexandria (more on that later).
