Stop. READ THE SIGNS, PEOPLE.

Episode 14 was another 'hands to the face' installment of The Walking Dead as it approaches the final straight of Season 6, and it brought a whole raft of references to what may lie ahead for Rick and the group.

Denise's shock death spun the entire episode into chaos, but Dwight's re-emergence proved to be the biggest moment, with the returning character surely set to feature heavily in the next two episodes, assuming he's working alongside Negan and the Saviours now.

Carol also made a surprise exit from Alexandria, but you can guarantee she'll wriggle her way back into proceedings soon enough. There are just two more runs to go in Season 6, who will live? Who will die? Who will triumph? Who'll lose the long game? Episode 14 gave us some meaty clues as to what lies ahead. Did you pick them all up?

7. Roamers

Add it to the list. Zombies clearly don't exist in The Walking Dead world, in any form. And as a result of the lack of zombie-culture, it's always interesting to hear new terms used to describe them. This week saw Denise refer the undead as roamers, the latest of many different names for the flesh-eaters.

It would have been easy to keep 'walkers' as a generic name across the board, but it's hardly the first name you'd draw up when faced with a horde of living corpses. Not every group would refer to them as walkers, and it's a neat touch that The Walking Dead acknowledges a whole range of names.

It sounds like the start of a Walking Dead drinking game. One drink for 'walkers', two drinks for 'roamers', finish the bottle for 'rotters'...
