The Walking Dead is over for another season, and now the dust has settled it's time to take stock and realise what we have actually just witnessed.
It feels like an eternity since the group's plot to lure the walker herd went awry in the premiere, with countless horrid moments, sudden departures and even a living, walking reptilian meal all featuring. Season 6 may have ended in controversy, but there were so many incredible moments to savour before Negan swung Lucille into action.
Not all crazy scenes must include blood, guts, death and destruction, but with The Walking Dead, a generous portion of each is served up every time the show airs.

12. Cliffhanger
It must be included, but the final cliffhanger for the season is shocking for an entirely different reason to the one Scott M. Gimple & Co. probably expected from the fanbase.
They were shooting for a 'OOOH who do you think died? I can't wait for the new season!' shock, but instead they achieved a 'WHAT?! Are you kidding me?! I waited an entire season for that.'
Negan's entry was great, but it's staggering that they thought carving it into two separate parts was a good idea. It's total madness, shows a lack of respect for the dedicated viewers and looks like nothing more than a tragic case of a show trying to hard to keep people coming back. That's the shocking part.
