The Walking Dead Season 6: 7 Characters We Want To See More Of

Don't leave these characters out in the cold!

Season six has, at least thus far, been something of a divisive season for fans of The Walking Dead: it has been split in terms of focus, bouncing back and forth from one group of characters to another, one episode at a time. It's not a new approach for the show, but it does leave viewers desperately craving updates on the folks they didn't see in a given episode. With the group split into two for the majority of the first few episodes (plus a flashback episode focusing entirely on Morgan), a lot of characters have been getting far, far less screen time than usual. As a result, fans of particular members of Rick's group might be going through some minor withdrawal symptoms at this point. Who are the biggest examples of this, and what can be done to scratch that itch?

7. Carl

It's almost unimaginable to be suggesting Carl as a character The Walking Dead should focus more on. Yet believe it or not, Carl has the potential to be a much more interesting character this season. A character you might actually want to watch. On a regular basis, even. In the early years, Carl got annoying pretty quick, and Chandler Riggs took a lot of grief that he probably shouldn't have, given his age and experience. Still, he didn't do much more than appear obnoxious and get in trouble a fair bit throughout the first few years of the show. However, once the group arrived at Alexandria, Carl's role as the protector big brother emerged (to be fair, that had been an ongoing development since little sis was born). More importantly, he now has a love interest (maybe) in Enid, no matter how fleeting. Maybe it's the fact that for once he's not just an annoying kid, but we'd actually like to see where this is going.
