There are always madcap theories surrounding every mildly ambiguous world, so The Walking Dead has naturally amassed its very own range of shows it could be tied to.

Fans have speculated about links to Breaking Bad via AMC and suspicious blue crystals Merle once owned, but now everyone can add Grand Theft Auto to the list. But the appearance of a gaming lunatic isn't the only neat moment from the Season 6 finale that you may have missed.

Did you spot the tribute to a backstage Star Wars hero? Or how about the blatant foreshadowing of the doom to strike Rick and the group? The finale was crammed with little moments you didn't notice the first time around, and here they are...

7. Negan's Comic Book Lines

When the creators explained that Negan would be peeled straight from the comic books and transferred directly to the screen, they weren't joking. Jeffrey Dean Morgan's interpretation was incredibly close to the original in a whole variety of ways.

For starters, "pee pee pants city" may have made your flesh crawl but it's a line taken straight from Negan's original dialogue, along with: "taking it like a champ" and a host of other lines. It's a nice touch that so much of the comic story is being used on-screen.

Aside from dialogue, even the look of Negan is dead-on, with the exact same style leather jacket, red neck warmer and slicked back hair all adding to the idea that his TV persona really has been crafted in detail.
