The Walking Dead Season 7: 9 Major Predictions

We're finally going to find out who Negan killed, but what else is gonna happen?

It's almost time.

For the past six months, viewers of The Walking Dead have been left in a state of flux. There was the initial burning rage and disappointment after the finale ended on a cliffhanger, which gradually gave way as all the speculation started to begin. The long wait has brought questions, set leaks, rumours, trailers that can't really show anything, and Fear The Walking Dead (which most people just seemed to ignore).

Now we're just days away from the Season 7 premiere, which means we're also only days away from finally discovering who Negan killed. Rick? Carl? Michonne? Daryl? Glenn? Maggie? Abraham? Sasha? Eugene? Rosita? Aaron? The question of which of them was 'Lucilled' has been the major Walking Dead talking point, and it's time for answers at last.

But that's just the first episode. After that, we've still got another 15 episodes to deal with the aftermath, and the shaken-up status-quo the survivors will be living in. New characters, new locations, a new world order.

Anger and disappointment has given way to a whole lot of excitement and anticipation, and soon it'll be sadness and grief (if they get it right, anyway). The only thing we know for sure is someone is getting killed, but what about beyond that? We may not know for sure, but we can take some educated guesses.

9. Abraham Gets Lucilled

When the big cliffhanger first happened - even before then, since we all knew that a death was coming - my pick was Abraham.

It's not that I want him to die, but he makes a lot of sense: his comics death was given to a different character (Denise), setting him up for a more iconic exit; he's a popular and big enough character that it would carry the require weight; he's not such a fan-favourite or intrinsic to the show that it wouldn't work without him or completely piss off the fans (e.g. Rick or Daryl).

Add into that the idea of someone "taking it like a champ" totally fits the way Abraham would go out, and Abe seems like the #1 choice to be on the receiving end of Lucille's wrath in the season premiere.
