The Walking Dead Season 7 Premiere: 6 Things You Definitely Missed
5. Glenn's Last Words
Glenn met Lucille in the worst possible manner. For starters he was in front of his pregnant wife, and secondly once Abraham took the hit, there'd have surely been a bittersweet moment of relief. When the first blow landed, there was no time to prepare last words so he struggled out: 'Maggie, I'll find you.'
You may have heard the almost incoherent line but not had a chance to process it. Actor Steven Yeun opened up to AMC, saying "Glenn was fighting to find words and 'Maggie, I'll find you' was a callback to another experience and another time when he really was trying to find her.
'Maybe it was a subconscious thought or maybe something he held onto for a while that was his driving force, and when he got smashed in the head, it just brought it to the forefront. There are so many ways to look at it.'
