After a rough couple of years, The Walking Dead managed to recapture a lot of fan interest when its ninth season premiered last year. The AMC series boasted a reinvention of sorts, with a new - and more focused - direction courtesy of new showrunner Angela Kang.

However, it wasn't long before the show began to make the same old mistakes, many of which were still present when it returned from its mid-season hiatus. Thankfully, the tide is turning once more, as the last few episodes have been incredibly impressive - and the latest is no different.

Picking up from where last week's episode left off, Chokepoint finds Daryl, Connie, Henry and Lydia fleeing from The Whisperers camp, before being faced with the dilemma of where they should go next. The instalment primarily centres around this core group of characters, as they weigh up the pros and cons of taking Lydia with them on their travels.

In addition to these guys, The Kingdom regulars Carol, Ezekiel and Jerry also feature, as they find themselves facing a new threat during their preparations for The Fair.

Chokepoint isn't perfect by any means, but it's a stark reminder of how good The Walking Dead can be when it wants to be, and it's hopefully a sign of things to come as we prepare for the final few episodes of the season.
