The Walking Dead Season 9: 4 Ups & 1 Down From 'The Bridge'
The new world is well underway.

The Walking Dead returned to our screens last week for its ninth season, and the premiere episode demonstrated a return to form for the hit series.
A New Beginning does what it says on the tin for the post-apocalyptic drama, starting off what promises to be a fresh and exciting new era and, with Scott Gimple no longer serving as showrunner, it appears as though all hope is not lost for the former ratings hit.
The Bridge sees all of the separate communities coming together as a group, as Rick oversees the construction project on the nearby bridge. Re-building this bridge will make life easier, as survivors will be able to travel to and from all of the communities. The Saviours don't take too kindly to being bossed about, and this leads to plenty of heated conversations throughout, which makes for an enjoyable episode.
Although still not perfect, The Bridge is another pretty decent instalment for The Walking Dead and, should the rest of the season prove to be as good, then Season 9 is guaranteed to be better than the last three seasons put together.
