Top 10 TV Bromances

10. Tyrion and Bronn (Game of Thrones)

These two, much like Arya and Tywin, could easily have spawned their own TV spinoff comedy show. The unlikely pairing of a rich, witty dwarf and a sellsword only out for himself has proven to be one of the best partnerships on modern television. The thing that makes Tyrion and Bronn work so well is their shared pitch-black sense of humour and fondness of the word €œcunt€. That, and a great deal of money. Bronn is smart enough to know that Tyrion needs loyal men around him, and Tyrion is smart enough to know money can buy you many things, including that loyalty. When Bronn throws his hat in the ring by fighting for Tyrion at his trial by combat, he stands to lose everything, or gain a great deal. Fortunately for Bronn, he wins. When Lysa Arryn tries to insult him by saying he doesn't fight with honour, Bronn says €œNo. He did,€ gesturing at his beaten, falling-to-his-death opponent. Unlike many men in Westeros, Bronn is unashamedly for sale €“ but he is, just like Tyrion, honest, and that's something extremely rare in the Seven Kingdoms. At the battle of the Blackwater, their friendship is solidified with Bronn as Tyrion's go to guy and commander of the City Watch, not to mention that awesome shot of him loosing the arrow that causes the wildfire explosion. Given the events of the books, it'll be interesting to see how the writers tackle this duo in season three. Best bromance moment: Tyrion and Bronn drink after arresting Janos Slynt.

When not writing Chris spends more time thinking about playing videogames than actually playing them and can usually be found reorganizing his Blu Ray and book collections. He owns four different editions of A Song of Ice and Fire and no, it isn't overkill. He's left the neon haze of Tokyo and Seoul for the more sedate streets of Bournemouth.
