We knew it was coming but it didn't make it any less impactful when good cop Rick Grimes finally put an end to his former best friend Shane as The Walking Dead season 2 came to an end at the beginning of last year. But perhaps the real heart in mouth moment comes as the deader than dead Shane suddenly becomes reanimated and springs back to life as one of the most vicious looking zombies the show has ever seen. No show does suspense and genuine human emotion quite like The Walking Dead - as the clip below proves.
