Vic And Bob: 12 Genius Sketches That Made Us Cry With Laughter

GOOD RUCK KID.

What is a Mulligan, without an O€™Hare? A Davey, without a Donald? What is a Vic, without a Bob?

Few comedy couplets in the world can contend with the genius nonsense that has splurged from the brains of these two over the past few decades. They taught us that a Bounty bar is the exact size and weight as a human thumb; Bill Cosby was not, in fact, the world€™s first black man (we€™ve been lied to our whole lives), and to never, EVER eat muesli on a mountain.

Now it€™s tricky to encapsulate the entirety of Reeve's and Mortimer's greatest work in one article: not because the Internet won€™t give us room, it€™s very generous where space is concerned€ but because there is just so much brilliant Vic and Bob content out there. From the humble beginnings of €˜Vic Reeves Big Night Out€™ to the newest sitcom €˜House Of Fools€™ (which has, thankfully, been commissioned by the BBC for a second series), the epic tomfoolery of these two Northern boys is pretty tricky to list in just a few points.

For many Vic and Bob fans, childhood would€™ve been a hell of a lot duller without characters like The Man With The Stick, Graham Lister, and Mr Dennis (who doesn€™t stock Curly Wurlies as they€™re €œfar too elaborate€), and we€™re bloody lucky to have two of the finest British comedy legends still working hard to produce more silliness for us all. So without further ado, here€™s 12 of Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer€™s most stomach-crippling, trouser-trickling moments. We€™ll warm you up with a little explosion€
