The Walking Dead: 10 Predictions For The Rest Of Season 5

Will Carl ever realize that Sheriff's hat is too big for him?

Just as some audiences began to feel that The Walking Dead had run its course, Season 5 exploded onto our screens in October with the best premiere episode since the series first began, attracting record breaking viewing figures. Over the course of eight episodes, The Walking Dead team reminded us why the show is still the most popular program of its kind on TV right now. Despite AMC accidentally posting spoilers on social networks too soon, The Walking Dead mid-season finale was an extremely powerful, hard-hitting hour of television that succeeded on many levels. With emotions running high following the death of a major character, rumours are now flying around regarding the direction the show will take next. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, series creator Robert Kirkman hinted that things are going to get weird for the survivors once the second half of Season 5 is aired in February, finding themselves in a "wildly different set of circumstances". While this may not be much to go on, studying the original comic book series and re-watching past episodes may help shed light on the direction Season 5 will take upon its return in 2015. Will Father Gabriel become even more infuriating as a character? Will Rick's beard become infected and attack the others? And will Carl ever realize that Sheriff's hat is way too big for him?
