The Walking Dead: 5 Things That 'Internment' Did Right (And 3 It Didn't)

Walking Dead Hershel Cell The Walking Dead is a hugely popular series. Each episode is followed by a talk show devoted to discussion about that episode. Riots have been threatened if one character or another were to die, and Tumblr explodes with each airing. Just about all of the characters have been "shipped" together at one point or another. There's Caryl, Carick, Glaggie, Rickyl, Richonne, Dixonne, Bethyl, Daryl/Crossbow, Carl/Hat, Governor/Death, etc. It's a fun show to watch, and there have even been some episodes for which would be difficult to find something to criticize. Unfortunately, Internment is not one of those episodes. While much of the episode was very good and filled with enough tension that plenty of viewers probably woke up this morning to find gray hairs in their heads, there were some scenes that really had to make us wonder how these people managed to survive for so long. The Walking Dead is fantastic when it's good, but when it's bad, the flaws can be so glaring that it can be hard to remain in the moment. So anyway, let's dive in €“ I'm going to start with what the episode did right, before delving into where it went wrong.
