The Walking Dead: 7 Things That "A" Did Right (And 3 It Didn't)

That's that then. But did it live up to expectations?

The Walking Dead is an incredibly popular program. Each episode is immediately followed by a talk show devoted to analysis of that episode. Fans have hypothesized about everything from the true source of the zombie virus to whether or not the entire series is actually the content of Rick's coma dream. Social media explodes into a frenzy with each airing, and threats of riots have become commonplace in the fandom. With the show currently more popular than ever, millions awaited the showing of Sunday's finale with a combination of exhilaration and legitimate fear. After all, finales of The Walking Dead rarely end well for our heroes. Season 4 had already been a rather grim venture, and there's nothing like the weekly adrenaline rush of living vicariously through the zombie apocalypse. Now that the episode has finally aired and the show has entered into yet another hiatus, fans must settle down and decide whether or not "A" was all that they could have wanted in a finale. As is almost always the case, reception so far has largely been mixed. For those whose hearts belong to Carol or Tyreese, it was a disappointment. For those who had been hankering for a closer look at Terminus, it was a gift. For this who had just wanted everybody to live to see another season, it was a downright miracle. So, without further ado, here is a list of what the Season 4 finale did remarkably well...as well as a few nitpicks.
