Watch Trailer For WWE's Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart Greatest Rivalry Blu-ray & DVD!

The home video release contains their most iconic matches and an in-depth sit down interview between the former bitter enemies that you could never have imagined taking place ten years ago!

WWE have released the trailer for Wrestling's Greatest Rivalries: Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart, a very special home video release that is coming to Blu-ray and DVD next month and of which my pre-order was placed at Silvervision long ago. You see I grew up as a huge wrestling fan who lived through the whole of the Hart vs. Michaels feud, whether it was their matches against each other as The Rockers and The Hart Foundation in the Tag Team division, their early 90's program (I'll never forget a cage match between the pair in what I'm guessing was 1993 or 1994 where I played every move and felt every hold as a screaming spectator!), the AMAZING 60 minute Iron Man match they shared at Wrestlemania XII which has now become iconic, and then their heated exchanges in the late 1997 that culminated in the most infamous wrestling match of all time - that incident in Montreal. When I started watching wrestling for the first time in the early 90's I hated Shawn Michaels. The ridiculous outfits he would wear, the scary woman he had on his shoulder (Sherri Martel obviously but to a kid she was kinda scary!), those glasses, the way he would chew his gum and think he was the man. Maybe as a young kid without the body he had, the confidence and the athleticism I was jealous of the pretty boy rebel but man did I hate him. So obviously I was always into his and Hart's matches... my hero against the annoying asshole who would always cheat to win. Later in the mid 90's when I became a little more aware of how the business worked of course I came to understand that what persona Michaels was creating for himself back then was genius and he got himself over brilliantly. He's now one of my favourite ever performers.... him and Hart the top of the list and I love re-watching their matches. They had so many great bouts together and when you watch today's product and then one of their classics, no matter what era, you will sigh and wish wrestling was like the old days. Watch the trailer below and get excited not only about the matches but the interview too, something you would never have thought was possible ten years ago. Oh and if you don't know what Montreal is check out the brilliant Wrestling With Shadows and find out how real wrestling can truly be sometimes. http://youtu.be/MaDlHtuJqdY
