10 Major Predictions For UFC 225: Whittaker Vs. Romero 2
9. Rashad Coulter Vs. Chris De La Rocha
Both Heavyweights are still seeking their first UFC win, with De La Rocha falling to Adam Milstead and Daniel Omielanczuk thus far, and Coulter eating consecutive knockouts against Chase Sherman and Tai Tuivasa.
Cage rust could prove problematic for Da Le Rocha, who will be fighting for the first time since 2016. Given that neither has had any joy in their UFC runs thus far, this may be the deciding factor, and their combined 0-4 record makes it tough to get a read on how this one will go.
That being said, Coulter at least looked semi-competitive against Sherman, while De La Rocha was no more than a walking punchbag in his showings. He's also 39 years old. It speaks volumes to the UFC's desperation for Heavyweight fighters that he's still under contract with the organisation, and while Coulter is 36 himself, he has at least shown some durability in defeat.
Whoever loses here will almost certainly be served their walking papers, as it's hard to imagine either advancing up the rankings anytime soon. Expect a finish.
Prediction: Rashad Coulter via second-round knockout.
