8 Reasons UFC Legend Georges St. Pierre Should Stay Retired

He has done it all, so what's the point of a comeback?

Georges St. Pierre was one of the most decorated, respected, dominant UFC champions of all time. And one of the only fighters to leave the sport on top, as champion, without tarnishing their image. Recently, there has been talk of Georges St. Pierre coming back to the fight game, and returning to the UFC. While plenty of fighters retire then unretire (we're looking at you, B.J. Penn), the fact that it is the man simply known by his initials, GSP - universally recognized as the best welterweight in mixed martial arts history - makes the talk notable. And the fact that it is the man himself who is fanning the flames of a comeback, rather than just some unfounded rumour. It seems as if St. Pierre is getting a little restless in his retirement, despite taking part in a couple of major film projects, like the upcoming Kickboxer remake. Still, while the desire to compete may still be there, and the itch may be growing, it doesn't mean that Georges St. Pierre should return to the sport he dominated for so long. In fact, there are several very good reasons why he should not - and here are eight of them.
