10 Awesome Wrestlers With Terrible Finishing Moves

It's a shame that they're so lame.

In much the same way that there are some terrible wrestlers and wrestling gimmicks who have been gifted with devastating finishing moves, the same applies in reverse. Some of the most popular, technically gifted and/or legendary wrestlers - those who dazzle in the ring and receive the adulation and/or respect of the crowd - have been cursed with the most boring, unimaginative or harmless-looking finishing moves that it's possible to have. For every high-impact slam there's a slam with impact that wouldn't hurt a fly, for every daring and high-flying manoeuvre there's a boring kick or punch, and for every complex, hard-to-pull off and painful-looking submission move there's one that looks like a five-year-old child could get out of it with minimal effort. Please bear in mind that what this article ISN'T saying is that these guys ONLY have terrible finishing moves. They may have several, some of which might be decent, but one of those that they're known for - and which fans are expected to believe finishes off an opponent - just wouldn't work in reality. Granted, there's an obvious suspension of disbelief element in wrestling - it's scripted and everyone knows that, so you make allowances - but, when so many great moves are available, it seems strange to lumber top superstars with terrible ones. So, without further ado, here are ten top wrestlers with terrible finishing moves...
