9. Triple H Vs. Chyna
During Triple H's rise to the main event, 'The Game' had enforcer Chyna by his side - and the two were in a very real relationship. At some point, though, things soured. Depending upon whom you believe, Triple H broke up with Chyna and then began dating Stephanie McMahon (HHH and Stephanie's side of the story), or Triple H cheated on Chyna with Stephanie, and 'The Ninth Wonder of the World' found out about it when she discovered some love letters in HHH's bag (Chyna's side).
Whichever version of events is true, Stephanie and Triple H became WWE's new power couple, while Chyna was left out in the cold. While she did win the Women's Championship at WrestleMania X-Seven, within a few months, she was gone from TV. Though rumors at the time stated that there was a contractual impasse - and Chyna said that she left to pursue acting - she later claimed that she was asked to sit out her contract after meeting with Vince McMahon to discuss the Stephanie situation.
Regardless of what actually happened, there's no doubt that had she not been a very awkward presence for members of the company's ruling family, they would have tried harder to keep one of the biggest stars of the Attitude Era.
