Mick Foley and DDP have a close relationship from their time together in WCW. If you haven’t read Mick’s first novel, Have A Nice Day: A Tale Of Blood And Sweatsocks, then A) you’re not much of a wrestling fan and B) you’re missing out on an amazing piece of literature, fan or not.

In the story of Mick’s early days in pro wrestling, he tells tales of his travels with Page and Steve Austin, and one of the most hilarious anecdotes from the book is one regarding Austin and Foley pranking Dallas by putting cookie crumbs in his hotel bedsheets. This drove the new Hall inductee absolutely insane and he went off on his roommates.

Aside from that, Mick speaks quite fondly of DDP and vice versa, and their history combined with Foley’s current position as an identifiable onscreen character with the modern audience makes Mick a good choice to induct his buddy into the Hall.
