1. TLC II - WrestleMania X7

When you book a WrestleMania rematch the very next year, the pressure to top what you did last year is obviously insane. That was the task of Edge & Christian, the Hardy Boyz, and the Dudley Boyz. They stole the show the year prior. They're now in a 67,000-seat arena, going before Rock vs. Austin II, and had to eclipse their prior year's effort. Not only did they top the first match, they slaughtered it. The image of Edge hitting the spear on Jeff Hardy from the very top of the ladder was not only devastating, it was perfect in execution. One wrong twist or torque, and Jeff could have been permanently injured. Edge wasn't completely safe either. Earlier in the match, the involvement of Rhyno, Spike Dudley, and Lita was really well executed. Matt Hardy and Bubba Ray Dudley falling through a stack of tables was also a crazy spot, even though it was overshadowed by the spear. On the greatest pay-per-views of all time, this match could have easily been lost in the shuffle. Instead, it's mentioned in a debate over whether it was better than Rock vs. Austin, and anybody who takes the side of TLC II would have a good case to argue. It's the greatest ladder match in WrestleMania history. Thoughts on this list? Any prediction of where this year's ladder match will fall on this list?
