10 Best The Rock Vs. Triple H Matches

One of the Attitude Era's most important rivalries.

The Rock and Triple H are probably going to have a match at WrestleMania 32 next year. We have a year to speculate about it, but based on what happened at WrestleMania 31 it's considered very likely. Perhaps it will be a tag match with Ronda Rousey joining The Rock while Triple H is joined by Stephanie McMahon. It's more likely that they do a singles match with the ladies at ringside. If you watched WWE in the late 1990s through the early 2000s then you know that they were two of the most important performers during the Attitude Era. They rose to the top at the same time, feuded for the IC Title (Rock beat Hunter for it in 1997, then Hunter beat Rock for it in 1998), then the World Title meant several title changes and they headlined many shows together along the way. The Rock first won the WWE Title at Survivor Series 1998 and Triple H won his first World Title on the Raw after SummerSlam 1999, but it was in 2000 they really cemented their spots as top guys. There were 12 PPVs that year and every single one of them ended with The Rock or Triple H in the last match. They were in the same match six times that year. In the years that followed they didn't really face off as much because Rock moved on to movies, but if he never left chances are good that they would have only added to their legendary rivalry. If they wrestle at WrestleMania 32 it would be their first singles match at a WrestleMania. That's why it's so appealing to a lot of fans that watched them compete over the last 20 years. Here are 10 of the best matches involving The Rock and Triple H. Some of them are singles matches while others involved other performers. Their matches were very good most of the time, so if you want to explore their history here's a great selection of matches to check out.
