This week's Raw was again filled with good in-ring action and the continued push of newer stars - but it felt a little flat compared to previous weeks.

For all the entertainment, there were several big complaints. Firstly, we had the third successive 'Family' vs. 'Club' six-man tag match in successive shows - and as intriguing as these matches have been, they've started to wear thin. The angle itself, however, continues to be impressive.

Secondly, Big Cass seemed set for his first ever Raw main event, challenging Chris Jericho to a match after an opening segment stand-off. Sadly, Dean Ambrose made a "shocking" return before the opening bell, attacking Y2J and wrecking his light-up jacket. Surely Cass should have been more angry about this than he was; after all, it overshadowed his big moment. Strange.

The show wasn't all bad, however - but rest assured, the internet was on hand to turn its unforgiving gaze upon each little slip-up.

10. 'It's A New Era, Everybody. Seriously, Pay Attention.'

Reddit-user Suplewich did the noble job of tallying every ostentatious mention of a 'new era' on last night's show, and came big with a high figure indeed. Seventeen.

It's no secret that WWE are keen to push the idea of a fresh beginning down our throats, but this seems a little excessive.

It could be argued that such an era began years ago, with CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and Seth Rollins all shattering the glass ceiling since the turn of the decade.

Then again, a point could also be made to suggest that we're not even close to a legitimate new era yet - not as long as Roman Reigns remains champion, and fan favourites such as Damien Sandow remain unheralded by the company.
