Typically, when wrestling fans discuss the best video games dedicated to the industry, not many focused on World Championship Wrestling come up. Some of the most famous examples in the medium, the likes of WWF No Mercy, Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain, and even Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game are routinely mentioned, and are often considered head and shoulders above any games put out devoted to the WCW cause. That's a shame, because it means a lot of fans have missed out on some truly fantastic gaming experiences, featuring some of the biggest names in the profession, and some of the best pure wrestling videogame gameplay around. There have been many titles which exclusively feature WCW, and it'd be foolish to claim all of them are the best wrestling games out there, but many don't deserve the negativity which seems to surround them. Sure, the company itself may have went down the tubes, but that doesn't explicitly imply there's nothing worth revisiting which involves the letters, 'W', 'C' and indeed 'W'.
