Question: what would happen to you should you go to Minoru Suzuki and tell him he's old? Answer: he would smile, nod, confirm that he is, in fact, old, and then slap the taste out of your mouth, crush your trachea with a chair, and laugh at you because, despite your youth, you're still nothing to him.

Simply put, 'The King' will not let the petty fact that he's 50 deter him from what many fans would consider a current career prime. Since returning to New Japan in early 2017 after a spell in NOAH, Suzuki has made the most out of his current run, kicking people around, being sadistic, and having incredible matches. His wars with Okada, Tanahashi, and Goto are amazing on their own, but when you consider his age, they're downright anomalies. How is he able to still go at this level after 30 years? Simple: he's Minoru Suzuki. Pain is his food, and the tears of younger men are his steak sauce.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to hide in a bunker, because even though Suzuki is thousands of miles away and doesn't know I exist, I still fear for my life.
