Where in the world is Adam Cole? 'The Panama City Playboy' left his Ring Of Honor contract in May, and has barely been seen since. Cole has only worked a handful of independent dates since severing those ties, and while he has reportedly been on the verge of signing for WWE for months now, he is yet to report to the Performance Center.

In all likelihood, Cole's situation is similar to that which Kyle O'Reilly found himself in a few months ago, and he'll be linking up with the world's biggest promotion before long. If so, WWE won't only be inheriting one of the indie scene's most consistent performers over the past few years, but a wrestler with huge superstar potential.

Cole is solid between the ropes, but really excels in the other aspects of his performance. His microphone work is top notch, particularly for an indie wrestler, and his ability to project a slick, arrogant persona will get him over huge. He's not a virtuoso grappler like the O'Reillys of the world, but Cole works a smooth, safe style between the ropes, which should only enhance his chances of succeeding in Vince McMahon's world.
