10 Best Wrestling Dives

9. Elix Skipper Soars In TNA (Bound For Glory 2007)

While Elix Skipper never quite fulfilled his full potential, he remains one of the most athletically gifted wrestlers to ever set foot in TNA. A world-class acrobat, ‘Primetime’ starred in one of the most famous moments in TNA history by “walking the cage” at Turning Point 2004, but his career was full of breathtaking spots, and he was always good for a death-defying dive.

One of his most memorable leaps came at Bound For Glory 2007, when he and partner Senshi were competing against LAX in an Ultimate X Match. It was the kind of breathtaking spotfest TNA had become synonymous with, and while all four wrestlers dazzled the crowd, Skipper stole the show.

Having disposed of Homicide, Skipper reached the top of one of the steel towers surrounding the ring. Instead of working his way across the wire and grabbing the giant X (which would have won the match), Elix steadied himself, took a deep breath, then flew into the massive Hernandez with a huge cross body. An incredibly bold move, given there was just one man there to break his fall, but it definitely set pulses racing.

Skip to the 9:00 spot on the video to catch 'Primetime' at his best.
