If the first match shared by John Cena and Shawn Michaels failed to tear the roof off Detroit's Ford Field, their second effort - a non-title rematch a month later on a special UK episode of Monday Night Raw - certainly made amends.

Having been given the show's entire second hour to make their own, the pair went some 55 minutes bell to bell. A good chunk of them, thanks to the regular commercial break interruptions, were enjoyed only by those in the London crowd - but the TV viewers saw enough, at least, to realise they were witnessing something special.

After coming up short at WrestleMania, this was the tale of HBK - cast in a familiar role as a never-say-die underdog - throwing everything he had (and some of the things he didn't have since the late '90s) at peak Superman Cena, desperate to prove he still could still stand eye-to-eye with the best of them.

And, both in kayfabe and out, he accomplished just that by pinning the Champ and capping off what is perhaps the greatest main event in Raw's illustrious 20 year plus history.
