Pinning down the exact moment Ronda Rousey debuted is harder than it seems.

Many people would go straight to her tag match with Kurt Angle against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34. However, she first appeared in WWE at a different WrestleMania three years before the one in New Orleans.

At WrestleMania 31, Rousey was pulled from the crowd by none other than The Rock to back him up against McMahon and Helmsley. This was the first time the MMA star set foot in a WWE ring, but it wasn't as a wrestler. More like a special guest.

The moment that Rousey first appeared with clear intentions of competing as a wrestler was at the end of Royal Rumble 2018. Rousey's music hit following the end of the first ever Women's Royal Rumble match and the crowd came unglued. This appearance was such a shock and it lead to one of the most remarkable rookie years in company history.

Combined with her high-profile appearance at 'Mania 31 and Rousey's debut - despite being stretched out over three years - remains one of the best examples of a transition from the world of MMA to the world of pro wrestling.
