10 Best WWE Entrance Music Changes

8. John Cena

For at least the last 10 years, wrestling hipsters have been decrying the loss of the "old" John Cena; the uber-cocky heel rapper who loved nothing more than throwing shade on the local sports teams and spanking Stephanie McMahon.

All of us - at least those of us old enough to have seen the Doctor of Thuganomics in his hey-day - can get behind that, but you have concede that his current entrance track is, if not necessarily better sounding, then surely better suited to the big occasion than "Word Life".

Fact is, whatever criticisms you can level at the guy, it's impossible not to get a little pumped up when you hear "My Time Is Now" begin to blare out. It's loud and obnoxious, and the lyrics aren't exactly great, but the song is simply made (literally) to be played at massive, all-capacity stadiums.

Besides, now that we know there was never any will on the part of WWE to turn Cena back into a bad guy, this was probably a wise move. The lyrics to his original track are simply too self-aggrandising for a wrestler who is allegedly all about loyalty and respect (along with hustle).
