10 Best WWE Hell In A Cell Matches Ever

9. Triple H Vs. Chris Jericho (Judgment Day 2002)

Although Triple H vs. Chris Jericho wasn't the best feud in the world, their pairing did yield some quality matches over the years. Their Fully Load 2000 Last Man Standing clash was one of the stipulation's finest, and the same goes for this Hell In A Cell scrap two years later, which greatly outstripped the meek bout they'd worked in the WrestleMania X8 main event.

This was a real slow-burner. It started out like little more than a standard singles clash enclosed by steel mesh, but gradually came together. Foreheads were raked against the cage and bodies whipped around ringside. The bout then became a weapons brawl, with chairs and ladders getting thrown into the mix, and they even worked a logical referee bump into it, with Tim White unable to count a Jericho three after getting bludgeoned into the wall.

Typical of the stipulation, the action eventually spilled outside the walls, but the finish was 100% atypical. Though neither man was sent through the roof after scaling the structure (thankfully), 'The Game' ended Jericho's night in the heavens, pinning him high above the intended battleground.
