10 Best WWE Insults Of 2017

Historically, all of the best WWE insults have been either delivered inside the ring or during a backstage interview. These days, however, wrestlers can throw barbs at each other from the comfort of their own homes via the medium of social media (just like the POTUS).

One of this year's best came courtesy of Randy Orton, who started rocking a hilariously nonchalant attitude to kayfabe last year - including a brilliant jab at creative for booking him in a Punjabi Prison match back at Battleground.

After being mocked by Kevin Owens for vaping (which itself was a response to The Viper teasing him about his weight), Orton retorted: "I actually quit vaping this European tour, but you wouldn’t know because you ain’t here."

This, of course, was a reference to the fact that KO, along with Sami Zayn, had been sent back to the United States by way of punishment for going off the SmackDown script, an offence so heinous that insiders said their WWE futures would be thrown into doubt.
